Carmensin is a beautiful humanist serif typeface created by Rafael Jordán. Designed in the 21st Century with all the flavor of the Renaissance. The conclusion of a story that began in Type@Paris program in June, 2015 & ended at February, 2020.

Inspired by historical models, its classic conventional appearance with small details, smooth curves, large x-height and open counters made of Carmensin a great, efficient and solid typeface for long text settings. Also, its bigger sizes styles show the beautiful shapes and contrast, exhibiting its exuberance.

An ambitious typographic branding project made for one of the most iconic magazine headers of the world, it defines the Spanish edition’s personality through a blending of the functionality of XIX Century Modern Romans (also known as “Scotch" typefaces) and the gestural expressiveness of typographic Baroque. Chamberí is a peculiar combination of the rational and the delicate, the sturdy and the feminine. The family is organised in a broad spectrum of 56 variants in which the transition from the restrained text version to the flamboyant, elegant display is modulated by contrast. The family is organised in seven weights: from Extra Light to Black, plus four contrast grades: Text, Headline, Display and Superdisplay. Redotika is a versatile script font that has many alternatives for lowercase letters. This type of font is best used for logos, apparel designs, merchandise and whatever designs you need in the future.

Hey… wait a minute. A rainy day, a font called Rainclouds… Yep, that’s right, it is called Rainclouds for that reason! ;-)

Rainclouds is a fat marker font with a lot of texture and a lot of mouth.

Device™ display typeface is inspired by industrial type used for decals and signage. This typeface pairs nicely with geometric sans serifs like Cerebri Sans and HK Grotesk.

Monterey Pop oozes 1960s freedom and optimism, and is based on Tom Wilkes’s poster lettering for the Monterey International Pop Festival in June 1967, the event which heralded the legendary Summer of Love. 

The fonts include a newly-designed lowercase and a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters. In addition to the normal font, Outline and Thinline versions with matching spacing and kerning are supplied for use separately or overlapped with the regular font for bicolor effects. The Outline font is best for darker lines, and the Thinline font is designed for white and tinted outlines which can tend to halo and appear slightly bolder.

Prushkov is the first typeface that I made. Its name comes from the town I lived in at the time. The design was inspired by both geometric typefaces like Futura, and didone fonts like Bodoni. Its aim (perhaps quite bold) is to blend high contrast with mathematical excellence.

Prushkov will work well as a display font, both in uppercase and lowercase. It has a wide array of stylistic alternates for all of the capitals and some lowercase glyphs too.

It's too much fun! Of all the fonts I have designed, this is my favorite. Thin strokes and delicate embellishments really do it for me and I hope it's for you too! You won't find curves like this in regular fonts. This is modern meets the classic, minimally meets the decorative. Look at the numbers ... then, look again.
